Ice Fishing Bonus Games

Lil’ Blues, Big Oranges and Huge Reds are the three fish bonus games in Ice Fishing by Evolution, a live casino game show. Each has its own wheel segments and fish values. When a fish segment wins, the host reels in a catch and reveals the final multiplier. You receive a fish payout only if you placed an accepted bet on that fish type before betting closed.

A bonus boost can increase every fish value in the selected bonus. The largest combination is a 500× Red fish with a 10× boost: 5,000× on the qualifying Red stake. That figure is separate from the cost of all your bets in the round.

Blue, Orange and Red Fish Bonuses Compared

Ice Fishing uses a 53-segment virtual wheel. Seven segments lead to fishing: four Blue, two Orange and one Red. The other 46 belong to Leaf 1 and Leaf 2.

Ice Fishing bonus Fish segments Fish value before a boost Maximum with a 10× boost
Lil’ Blues — Blue Fish 4 3–100× 1,000×
Big Oranges — Orange Fish 2 4–200× 2,000×
Huge Reds — Red Fish 1 10–500× 5,000×

The higher ceilings come with fewer qualifying wheel segments. Each ceiling requires both the largest base fish and a 10× boost; a smaller catch can still occur with that boost.

The fish ranges and boost rules are published on Evolution’s Ice Fishing game page.

Which Bet Qualifies for an Ice Fishing Bonus?

Your accepted stake must match the fish result. A Blue bet participates in Lil’ Blues; it does not participate when Orange or Red wins. The bonus remains visible to other viewers, including players who backed a Leaf or a different fish.

Accepted bets before the round closes Winning wheel result Fish payout eligibility
Blue only Lil’ Blues The Blue stake qualifies
Blue only Big Oranges No qualifying Orange stake; the Blue bet loses
Blue, Orange and Red Huge Reds The Red stake qualifies; Blue and Orange lose
Leaf 1 only Any fish bonus The player can watch, but has no qualifying fish stake

All Bonuses places the selected chip amount on each of the three fish fields. With a €1 chip, that means €1 Blue + €1 Orange + €1 Red, for TOTAL BET €3. It covers all three fish types, but only the stake matching the winning fish receives the bonus payout. There is one winning wheel result, and All Bonuses is not an extra segment or a fourth fish bonus.

An accepted fish stake carries through to the catch. You do not place a second bet after the fish result appears. Random boosts may be assigned after betting closes, so you choose your stakes before any boost for that round is revealed. For chip placement and the shortcut itself, use the All Bonuses betting instructions.

From the Wheel Result to the Final Catch

A fish result opens the matching bonus. The host reels in one final catch, revealing it gradually. The final multiplier appears when the fish is out of the water.

After a fish field wins on the wheel, its fishing scene reveals one final catch.
  1. Betting closes. The accepted stakes for the round are already set.
  2. Boosts may be assigned. A fish boost covers all segments of its fish type. If no boost is assigned to the winning bonus, its base values apply.
  3. The wheel stops. A Blue, Orange or Red result opens the matching fishing scene. A Leaf result settles without a fish bonus.
  4. The host catches a fish. If that bonus is boosted, its fish values have already been multiplied before fishing begins.
  5. The final multiplier is revealed. The accepted matching fish stake is settled using that result and the applicable payout rules.

How Ice Fishing Bonus Boosts Work

An Ice Fishing bonus boost multiplies every fish value inside the selected bonus before fishing begins. Your stake benefits from it only if the boosted fish type wins the wheel result.

Boost target Published boost values What receives the boost
A fish bonus 2×, 3×, 4×, 5×, 6×, 7×, 8× or 10× Every wheel segment of the selected fish type; all fish values in that bonus are multiplied before fishing
A Leaf 3×, 4×, 5×, 7× or 10× One selected Leaf segment
No boost assigned to the winning bonus No extra multiplier The base fish value becomes the final fish multiplier

On the wheel, a boost attached to Orange covers both Orange segments, while a Blue boost covers all four Blue segments. The boost changes the available fish values; the number of segments carrying that fish type stays the same.

Use a Leaf multiplier directly as the return factor on its winning segment. For a fish boost, multiply it by the base value of the catch to get the final multiplier. For ordinary and boosted Leaf returns, see the Ice Fishing payout guide.

For calculations, an unboosted bonus can be treated as having a factor of 1. That is arithmetic notation; 1× is not an extra fish boost in the published boost list.

The Three Ice Fishing Fish Bonuses

The three bonuses share the same basic sequence, but their ranges and wheel coverage change what a catch can return. A boost scales the whole range, including its lower end.

Lil’ Blues: The Blue Fish Bonus

Lil’ Blues has four wheel segments, making it the most frequent fish trigger in an equal-segment model. Its base fish values run from 3× to 100×. A 10× boost takes those bounds to 30× and 1,000×; it does not turn every Blue catch into 1,000×.

Lil’ Blues: 3–100× base fish range, with up to 1,000× after the maximum boost.

The lower Blue values also show why a bonus payout can merely cover the round’s cost. With €1 on each fish and no boost, the minimum Blue catch credits €3 under SNAI’s winning stake × final multiplier convention, with no extra stake added. You spent €3 across the three fields, so that round breaks even.

Read the 3–100× range as the base fish value. A boosted Blue can exceed that range: a 100× fish with a 3× boost becomes a final 300×.

Big Oranges: The Orange Fish Bonus

Big Oranges has two wheel segments and base fish values from 4× to 200×. Both Orange segments share an assigned Orange boost. The number of covered segments affects which wheel results qualify; it does not create two catches or two payouts on one Orange stake.

Orange fish representing the Big Oranges bonus
Big Oranges: 4–200× base fish range, with up to 2,000× after the maximum boost.

With a 10× boost, the Orange range extends from 40× to 2,000×. A lower boost produces a lower ceiling: the largest 200× fish with a 4× boost is 800×.

Huge Reds: The Red Fish Bonus

Huge Reds occupies one wheel segment, with base fish values from 10× to 500×. Without a boost, even the largest Red fish stays at 500×. A 10× boost raises the bounds to 100× and 5,000×; the catch determines where the result falls within them.

Red fish representing the Huge Reds bonus
Huge Reds: 10–500× base fish range, with up to 5,000× after the maximum boost.

To receive the 5,000× payout, you need an accepted Red stake, a Red wheel result, a 10× boost and the 500× base fish. Evolution’s maximum applies to that qualifying stake. Other bets still count toward your TOTAL BET.

Base Fish Value × Boost = Final Multiplier

Use the base value and the boost together when the result shows them separately:

Final fish multiplier = base fish value × bonus boost

These are hypothetical combinations within the published ranges, not recorded catches:

Bonus Base fish value Boost Final multiplier
Lil’ Blues 100× None — factor 1 100×
Lil’ Blues 100× 8× 800×
Big Oranges 200× 4× 800×
Huge Reds 10× 10× 100×
Huge Reds 500× 10× 5,000×

A final 800× alone does not identify the fish type: both the Blue and Orange examples can produce it. The wheel result tells you which stake won; the base fish and boost explain the multiplier.

The same 10× Red boost can produce different final values. These two examples show the published bounds, not every possible catch or their probabilities.

What a Bonus Multiplier Means for Your Payout

The winning fish stake and the round cost are different amounts. A bonus multiplier applies to the accepted stake on the winning fish. To find the net change in your balance, subtract all accepted stakes in the round, including the losing fields.

The euro examples follow the fish settlement formula in SNAI’s EUR rules: credited return equals winning fish stake × final multiplier, with no extra addition of that stake. The Jokerbet rules instead state that the initial stake is added to winnings. The calculations below use the SNAI convention throughout.

For All Bonuses at €1 on each fish, TOTAL BET is €3. The following cases use no boost and the minimum fish value for each bonus:

Wheel result Qualifying fish stake Credited return Total round cost Net result
Blue, 3× fish €1 Blue €3 €3 €0 — break even
Orange, 4× fish €1 Orange €4 €3 +€1
Red, 10× fish €1 Red €10 €3 +€7
Leaf 1 or Leaf 2 None €0 €3 −€3

All Bonuses covers the fish outcomes, but the losing fields still count toward the cost. A catch must return more than the full €3 cost to leave a profit; a Leaf result loses the fish layout.

At the theoretical maximum, €1 Red × 500 × 10 gives €5,000 credited under this same convention, before any applicable cash cap. With €1 on each fish, that is €5,000 against a €3 round cost: 1,666.67× total cost, with a net result of +€4,997. The game’s advertised 5,000× remains the factor on the €1 winning Red stake.

A cash ceiling is a separate limit from the multiplier. The €500,000 limit in SNAI’s EUR rules belongs to that documented configuration; it is not a worldwide cash limit for every Ice Fishing table. See payout examples and cash-cap rules for the stake-return wording and further calculations.

How Often Can a Fish Bonus Trigger?

Wheel coverage gives a theoretical trigger share when every segment is assumed equally likely. It does not give the chance of each fish value or boost.

Fish result Segment share Theoretical chance per round
Lil’ Blues 4 / 53 About 7.55%
Big Oranges 2 / 53 About 3.77%
Huge Reds 1 / 53 About 1.89%
Any fish bonus 7 / 53 About 13.21%

Those are model probabilities, not measured results from a particular table. All Bonuses covers the seven fish segments through three separate bets; it does not change the wheel. The remaining 46 Leaf segments still produce a losing round for a fish-only layout.

The 1 / 53 Red trigger share is not the probability of a 5,000× win. Reaching the ceiling also needs the top Red fish and a 10× boost. The published ranges do not say how often those occur together, so the exact chance of 5,000× cannot be calculated from them.

Blue’s uncapped published RTP is 95.69%, Orange’s is 95.60% and Red’s is 95.17%. These figures describe theoretical return over many bets; the segment shares above describe how often a fish can trigger in the model. Compare RTP and bonus odds for the calculations and cash-cap effects. For layouts with the same round budget, use the betting strategy comparison.

Reading an Ice Fishing Bonus Result

Use the fish type to identify the qualifying stake, then read whether the record gives a base fish value or a final multiplier. A cash payout figure also needs the player’s stake amount and settlement convention.

Detail in a bonus record What it tells you
Fish type or wheel result Which accepted fish stake could qualify
Base fish value and boost How the final multiplier was produced, if both are supplied
Explicit final multiplier The result to use once in the payout calculation
Date, time, timezone and round reference Which completed round the record describes
Player stake and settlement convention The basis needed to calculate that player’s credited cash return

For example, Orange / 200× base / 4× boost / 800× final describes one hypothetical bonus result. Use the 800× final once: multiplying it by four again would incorrectly give 3,200×. A €800 credited return also needs a €1 accepted Orange stake and the SNAI settlement convention used above. A figure described as total table payout may include multiple players and has a different basis.

The ceilings above show what the game allows. To check an actual result, follow its source record; to check a player’s cash win, you also need the stake and payout rules.
