Ice Fishing Demo Modes and Free Play
Use Play Video on Evolution’s product page to follow the host, wheel and fish bonus sequence. The video has no practice bets to place. Interactive practice requires a mode with virtual credits and a betting panel.

The balance and betting controls distinguish the three modes:
| Mode | Can you place bets? | What the result means |
|---|---|---|
| Interactive demo / free play, where offered | Yes, using practice credits | The result changes a virtual balance; practice wins cannot be withdrawn |
| Video preview or spectator view | No practice bets | You can follow the wheel, boost and catch, but have no personal bet to settle |
| Real-money Ice Fishing | Yes, using accepted money stakes | Returns and losses affect the gaming balance |
Before placing the first chip, check whether the game window shows a virtual balance or a cash balance.
Check the service’s age and account requirements before opening a session. A free-play label alone does not confirm access without registration or a deposit.
How to Practise Ice Fishing Bets
The game has five betting fields: Leaf 1, Leaf 2, Lil’ Blues, Big Oranges and Huge Reds. A chip on one field remains a separate stake from chips on the others.

Use 1 credit as a calculation unit for the exercises. In a playable session, scale it to an available chip value while keeping the same relationships between amounts. The examples assume enough balance and stakes within the active betting limits.
1. Follow One Leaf Bet Through a Round
Begin with one chip on Leaf 1:
- Wait for the betting window to open and select a chip.
- Place it on Leaf 1. With no other placements, TOTAL BET equals that chip amount.
- Keep the betting panel in view until betting closes. The window lasts about eight seconds.
- Follow the winning field, then the return on your accepted stake.
An ordinary Leaf 1 result returns twice the winning Leaf 1 stake, including the stake itself. A 1-credit bet therefore returns 2 credits. Leaf 2 landing does not pay a chip on Leaf 1.
Any assigned boosts appear after betting closes. You cannot see the current boost and then place a new stake on it. In practice, make the layout first and read the boost as part of the round that follows.

The bet placement and acceptance steps explain when a placement counts as an accepted bet.
2. Read the Full Cost of All Bonuses
Select a chip worth 1 credit, then use All Bonuses once on an empty layout. The shortcut places:
- 1 credit on Lil’ Blues.
- 1 credit on Big Oranges.
- 1 credit on Huge Reds.
TOTAL BET is 3 credits. Add a separate 1-credit chip on Leaf 1 and the cost becomes 4 credits.
Before the countdown ends, check all four field amounts and TOTAL BET. The chip value sets each placement, so adding fields increases the cost. All Bonuses still needs the wheel to land on a fish: the shortcut neither buys a bonus nor adds a sixth outcome.
If Blue wins, the Blue stake participates. The Orange, Red and Leaf stakes still form part of the amount spent. If a Leaf lands on a fish-only layout, there is no fish return.
3. Practise Repeat, Double and Undo
Try these controls as separate exercises during an open betting window:
| Control | When to use it | Practice check |
|---|---|---|
| Repeat | In a new round, before placing the first chip | Restore the previous layout and compare its fields and TOTAL BET with the original |
| Double | After placing a layout, if the balance and field limits allow it | Check every field and read the new TOTAL BET |
| Undo | After adding a placement | Remove the latest placement; holding the button clears all placements |
For Double, begin with 1 credit on each fish field. Provided all doubled stakes fit the balance and limits, each becomes 2 credits and TOTAL BET becomes 6.
For Undo, start a separate layout with 1 credit on Leaf 1, then add another 1-credit placement to that field. Removing the latest placement returns the layout to 1 credit. Only edit while betting is open.
Repeat restores the previous layout. If it contained several fields, the total includes them all again; a smaller balance after the last round may no longer cover that cost.

On a phone, keep the chip selector, betting fields and TOTAL BET readable while the countdown runs.
- Select a chip before making the layout; check the total after All Bonuses or Double.
- Keep the game tab visible while placing bets. The published rules warn that switching tabs or minimising during the betting window can cause bets to be rejected.

4. Reconstruct the Round From Its Stakes
After a completed round, identify three amounts:
- TOTAL BET: every accepted stake in the round.
- Credited return: the amount returned from the winning stake.
- Net result: credited return minus TOTAL BET.
These worked examples use credits as arithmetic units. Ordinary Leaf returns include the winning stake. The fish examples follow the SNAI EUR rules: winning fish stake × final multiplier, without adding the original fish stake again. The calculations are before any applicable cash cap.
| Practice layout | Total cost | Illustrative outcome | Credited return | Net result |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 on Leaf 1 | 1 | Ordinary Leaf 1 | 2 | +1 |
| 1 on each Leaf | 2 | Ordinary Leaf 1 | 2 | 0 |
| 1 on each fish field | 3 | Ordinary Leaf 1 | 0 | −3 |
| 1 on each fish field | 3 | Blue with a final 3× multiplier | 3 | 0 |
| 1 on each fish field, plus 1 on Leaf 1 | 4 | Blue with a final 3× multiplier | 3 | −1 |
An extra Leaf stake raises the cost without changing the Blue return. Include that losing stake when calculating the net result.
Work out your practice payout for another chip amount or layout. In an active session, compare the calculation with the credited return in its history.
Follow the Fish Value and Boost
A fish result starts the corresponding bonus. Everyone can observe the catch; a payout requires an accepted stake on that fish field.
Suppose the calculation uses a 40× Blue fish and a 5× Blue boost. The final multiplier is 200×. With the 4-credit layout from the All Bonuses exercise, the winning Blue stake is still only 1 credit:

Illustrative calculation under the SNAI fish-settlement convention; this is not a recorded bonus win. It uses one final catch. The multiplier applies to the winning Blue stake, while all four stakes count towards the round cost.
Fish boosts increase the fish values before the catch. A Leaf boost applies to one selected Leaf segment. Compare the fish bonuses and boosts to see how each changes the return.
Ice Fishing Demo Not Loading: Identify the Problem
Match the problem to the action below:
| What you see | What to do next |
|---|---|
| A video plays, with no practice betting panel | Use it for observation. Interactive free play requires a session with virtual stakes |
| An access message blocks the game | Record the exact message and the failed access step. Send those details to the game service’s support if you cannot complete that step |
| The game window is blank or shows a loading error before any stake is placed | Reload once and note any error text. If the failure remains, keep the details for Help |
| Chips cannot be placed after the countdown | Wait for the next betting window. Current boosts are revealed after betting has closed |
| The connection drops after betting closes | Under the published live-game rules, a valid placed bet settles in your absence; inspect its result in History after reconnecting |
Leaving or switching tabs while betting is still open can cause the current bets to be rejected. That differs from a disconnect after betting has closed. The latter rule concerns the published live game; persistence of a practice balance and its history depends on the selected mode.
For a loading problem, retain the device, browser, launch time and exact message. For a disputed result, also retain the date, time, table context, round reference and accepted layout.

From Demo to Real-Money Ice Fishing
Keep the same TOTAL BET check when moving from practice credits to a cash balance. Winning demo rounds do not improve the next round’s odds.
Before using a cash balance:
- Set the amount you are willing to spend per round and for the session.
- Read the actual stake limits, payout convention and cash cap in the active game rules.
- Compare layouts at the same total cost. Adding a field on top of the existing stakes increases the amount spent.
Once the controls are familiar, compare bets at the same budget. A short practice session can finish above or below theoretical return; Ice Fishing RTP and bonus odds explain the long-run figures for each field.
